Each class explore the history and stories, symbolism and multi-layered meanings behind the different cards. You will get to play and explore what “clicks” for your own personal sense of intuition, and learn to craft practices to support readings within your personal life.
Tarot is an incredible tool for self reflection and allowing a meditative part of yourself to communicate to you via the story archetypes of the cards looking at these through the different lenses of understanding (I.e. jungian, renaissance, golden order, etc) and the intricate correspondences such as Astrology imbued into each card.
Suit of Swords:
The Suit of Air, Sword cards deal with the mental level of consciousness that is centered around the mind and the intellect. Swords mirror the quality of mind present in your thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs. Swords are often double-edged and in this way the symbolise the fine balance between intellect and power and how these two elements can be used for good or evil.
We will walk through the meanings, history, symbolism and astrology of each Swords card, building up the story arch of the Suit before practicing reading for each other or ourselves with just the Swords cards.
